2010 Online Apologetics Conference
Short Story Contest
This year’s conference has as its emphasis promoting Christianity through literature. To emphasize that, the conference is hosting a short story contest. To participate, one must register for the conference. Registration will allow you to listen- from anywhere in the world- to Christian apologists and authors discussing the role of Christian literature in evangelism. See our presenters and their topics, here.
Conference Registration is $35. (Students: $25)
The grand prize winner in our short story contest will receive $600 and the Runner Up will receive $400!**
Conference attendees will be invited to vote on their favorite stories. The twelve stories that receive the highest votes will be distributed in a literary e-zine, one at a time for 12 months. This could be great exposure for authors.
Deadline for story entries: May 6th, 2010. If you plan on submitting a story, you’ll need to upload it by the deadline so that it can be ready for conference participants to read. An upload form for this purpose will be made available soon but you can already upload it when you register, if you like.
Contest winners will be determined by June 15th and announced no later than July 1st, 2010.
Your story should be an illustration of ‘literary apologetics’ at some level and should be no more than 7,500 words. Hint: shorter than that is better.
**We reserve the right to modify these amounts depending on the level of participation.
