Marriage, Family, and New Life: A Biblical Understanding

Many visitors to this site will appreciate our effort to advance the biblical model of the family through the arts. However, it is possible that these readers might not understand how all-encompassing this theme is perceived for the purpose of this conference.
Take for example the fact that along with ‘marriage’ and ‘family,’ the theme speaks to the topic of ‘life.’ Yes, by ‘life’ we refer to the entire scope of human existence, because marriage and family is central to that existence. It fits. But by ‘life’ we do also mean new life. By new life, we are essentially referencing what is known in the culture wars a pro-life position. Why should a conference on marriage and the family care about pro-life issues?
